| Original 2006 review comments: Cozy, friendly pub with a nice atmosphere. Can be lively. Toilets are outside - dodgy bulb on this visit but was soon fixed. A nice walk through the park to get here. Beer garden is surprisingly big. Patch of green at the bottom end in need of a mow though. Reassessment Comments 09/02/2010 comments: Still a warm, welcoming pub. Nice big TV now near the open fire. More choice of food now. Reassessment 03/05/2011 comments: A lovely, warm cozy pub still. The kind of place you'd love as your local. Lots of special nights - quiz on Monday, curry on Wednesday, open mic once a month. Toilets outside - good or bad, you decide! The beer garden is very smart now. |
