Re-assessment 09/02/2010 comments: Still a great place for real ales.  All the Wye Valley bitter you could drink.

A lively and popular pub but a bit rough around the edges.

Huge beer garden (with 2 table football tables!).  Not so draughty now with the door permanently open thanks to the newly built part.

Re-assessment 26/07/2011 comments:  A bit tidier than it was.  Massive beer garden.  Toilets are very smart with historical Herefordshire information.  Surprisingly pricey for non-Wye Valley drinks.

Busy because its busy (see Mr H's Theory of Self Perpetuating Business blog post).  Clientelle made up of old men and students - not much in between!
